Sonny was rescued after being dumped at a vet clinic and immediately stole the heart of Angus' Grandfather. After his Grandfather passed Angus helped care for Sonny. When we first started dating, Sonny immediately became my snuggle buddy! I would carry him everywhere with me, and he definitely enjoyed not having to walk around so much!  When Angus and I moved in together we really started to see Sonny as our dog instead of just his Grandfather's dog.

 

As Sonny got older he began to need more care and attention and we learned that he had a heart condition. He also seemed to be less aware of his surroundings and had to be in a diaper at night to prevent accidents. Loving an elderly dog has its obstacles but it is one of the most rewarding experiences I have had. Sonny taught me just how much an animal can impact and improve your life. He helped me get through some pretty tough times, he also helped teach me patience and unconditional love! Losing Sonny was a very difficult time for both of us, we continued to grow together through this grief.

 

We knew that we wanted to honor Sonny which is why we decided to name our company Sonny Cinematics. We have also reached out to local shelters to donate our services in an effort to help improve the adoption opportunities for long term residents and elderly animals.
